For the single release of สิ่งที่เหลือ by DEPHOOM, I was responsible for the art direction and single cover design. The lyrics explore the heavy emotional aftermath of a breakup. They tell the story of someone trying to erase the past and move on, only to find that the love and memories of that person are impossible to wash away and remain hidden deep inside.
To translate this feeling of inescapable memory, I conceptualized a surreal digital illustration. The artwork features a solitary figure facing away, half-submerged in a glowing, starlit ocean that blends seamlessly into the vastness of space. This visual approach mirrors the idea of floating lost between the stars and the waves, capturing the sensation of being surrounded by endless space yet still tethered to the presence of someone who is gone.
The final cover art provides DEPHOOM with a deeply atmospheric visual identity for the release. It effectively communicates the quiet isolation and lingering sadness of the song, giving listeners a visual anchor for the emotional weight of the track.
